Miss Davidson's Ladies Academy, was at Mythop, Lytham in the early
1870s, possibly at Mythop House. It was founded by Elizabeth
Davidson, (a widow) who came from Scotland with her two daughters, Agnes &
Mary .
In 1875/6 they moved the school into a much larger, newly
built school at the new resort of St.Annes.
