Probably built as workers cottages in 1767, the Cross Family ran this farm and market garden for most of the 20th century.

It is pictured here c1904 on Regent Road (now Regent Avenue, near the crematorium). It was rebuilt about 1991. To the right is part of Fishers Farm.
