Borough Council, 1939. The Southdown Hydropathic Hotel opposite
St.Annes Pier was converted for use as the Town Hall for the new Borough, opening
in 1925.This meant that there were two 'Town Halls'; the offices at
St.Annes and the old Lytham Council Offices, housed in the baths building on
Central Beach. Since 1925 the old Public Offices on
Clifton Drive have been used as an annexe to the Town Hall.
